Aloha! I know hand-poked tattoos are no longer the norm, and so naturally, they inspire many questions. My practice is sanitary and sterile, and over the last 9 years, I've cultivated a technique which promotes easy healing and longevity! I use only organic (not vegan, sorry!) inks, to avoid as much potential for irritation as possible.
You'd think hand-poked tattoos would hurt a lot more than machine tattoos do, but most of my clients express surprise at how little pain they feel. Usually, it does tickle a bit. If you're worried about pain, let's do some ink-free test pokes!
If you are considering a hand-poked tattoo and still have some questions, please feel free to reach out to me on instagram, text, or email! The most important thing to me is that you are confident in the art you choose to adorn your body with!
